Safeguarding & Protecting Children and Adults as per CQC, Commissioning and Contractual requirements
Safeguarding Children and Adults who are at risk is at the heart of all that we do.
Safeguarding is a range of activities undertaken by all of us aimed at upholding all adults’ and children’s fundamental right to be safe.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) have been assured we have robust process in place to support staff to recognise the abuse and keep people safe, understand the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and work within the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS).
The requirements are based upon the Care Quality Commission (CQC) published report July 2009 on their review of arrangements in the NHS for safeguarding children. In line with this we are required to publish our declaration and demonstrate processes, procedures and policies.
