Residents across Lancashire are being given the opportunity to recognise health professionals who have made a difference to their healthcare experience and nominate them in the third annual People"s Choice Awards!
Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust provides health and wellbeing services to people across Lancashire as well as offender health services across the county and in Liverpool. The Trust has now launched their seventh annual Staff Awards celebrations and as part of this are inviting members of the public to submit nominations for the People"s Choice Award. The winner will be announced at the Staff Awards ceremony which is being held in March 2016.
Heather Tierney-Moore, Chief Executive at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust said:
"This is the third year we have held the People"s Choice Award and we are delighted to see that it continues to grow in popularity each year. The awards are a great way for members of the public to tell us about an individual or team who has demonstrated excellent, compassionate care and made their healthcare experience a positive one. This award generates a lot of excitement and for many is the most anticipated as it is chosen for and by the people who really matter - the people we help.
"We know it is often the little things that can make a huge difference to someone, be they a service user, carer or family member and this award allows people to help us recognise the outstanding work that takes place around the Trust."
The People"s Choice Award allows members of the public to nominate a team, individual or service who they feel should be recognised for their hard work and determination. They will be high performing, delivering over and above expectations and always strive for improvement. We are looking for nominations that are an inspiration to others, demonstrate commitment and determination and always go that extra mile to get excellent results.
