Sue Capstick, service line manager for sexual health at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Young people under the age of 25 in Central Lancashire can now access our specialist services in Preston and Chorley. We’re delighted to be able to provide this service which means young people can access excellent, high quality sexual health care. Young people in West Lancashire can now be confident that they are able to access appropriate care and make choices that are right for them.”
Earlier this year, the Trust’s CaSH service was awarded the Lancashire LGBT Quality Mark, a quality assurance programme for service providers that assists in measuring how well the needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender service users, volunteers and staff are met.
