Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust is hosting a recruitment event for mental health and learning disability student nurses who are in their second year of nurse training where they will also be offered an interview on the day.

Attendees will also be able to learn more about the Trust and the types of services on offer and also speak to clinicians. The event is to be held on 21 October 2019.

Carol Snape, Education and Workforce Lead at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust, said:

“Lancashire Care offers a host of benefits and preceptorship support to help student nurses in the transition from student to newly qualified registered nurse. Even if you have never had a placement with us please come a long and meet the teams to see what we offer.

“We are offering student nurses the opportunity to have an interview on the day and receive a conditional offer of a job for when they complete their course. Simply book on to the event via the Eventbrite link, within the booking information there is a link to the Recruitment Team’s inbox for you to express an interest in an interview on the day by emailing your details to the team. The team will then send you the link to apply for an interview.”

If you are successful on the day, you will be provided with a link person from the area where you have been successful in securing a post. This staff member will keep in contact with you for the rest of your nurse training and invite you to events held in the Trust.

Successful attendees will be invited in their third year to attend and experience some of our preceptorship groups, and will be offered a robust preceptorship period when they qualify. The Trust also offers recruitment on to our Temporary Staffing Bank providing them with the opportunity to experience working in various areas in the Trust.
