The Phoenix Art & Health Project
In partnership with Green Close and funding from Arts Council, we are offering a range of visual arts opportunities throughout August, September and October. All of the sessions can be accessed from home through post, telephone or online and are completely FREE to access.
We want to demonstrate how the arts can improve wellbeing whilst tackling some of the common mental health difficulties people are facing including stress, anxiety, bereavement & loss and depression. The arts play a vital role in recovery with many people turning to arts and crafts as a way to convey their feelings, explore their personal journeys and look forward to new interests and hobbies.
All the sessions are being led by professional artists and will cover different art forms such as drawing, journaling, pottery, crafts and digital arts. There’s something for everyone so please check out the full programme and enrol your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
To enrol on a course or to see more about the different opportunities please visit our Eventbrite page.
