A union is an organisation of workers who’s intent is to improve the conditions of their employments. There are several unions that you may choose to join and these can be found by doing a google search of ‘nursing unions in the UK’.
Your union will charge a union membership fee (‘membership sub’) to finance the work of the union. This can be the same amount for all employees or based on how much you’re paid.
