Your flight details will have been previously sent to you by the recruitment team. You will need to arrange your own transport to the airport from your destination. At the airport, please ensure you have all the required documents and you have obeyed the luggage restrictions and allowance.
Transport has been arranged to take you from the airport to your accommodation in Preston. Please look for your driver with your name card. This taxi journey will take about an hour.
You will be met by an accommodation officer who will show you to your temporary home. Here, a basic food hamper will be available. Depending on your flight arrival time, we will arrange for a member of the Trust to meet with you in Preston.
You will be introduced to a member of the recruitment team who will happily guide you around the local area; advise on opening a bank account and registering with a GP; give details on picking up your BRP and answer any queries you may have.
Once your bank account is open and you have collected your BRP, we will arrange for you to complete your new starter paperwork.
Your clinical uniform will be provided to you by the Trust but you are required to use your own shoes in line with our Trust regulations. You will be booked on our Trust Induction Programme and your OSCE training will take place in either Preston or Lancaster.
