Today we have launched the first issue of our We Are LSCft magazine.

The magazine, which is shared with staff, stakeholders and communities includes features on the work and achievements both services and service users are achieving across the region.

The first issue, looks at the transformation work around mental health urgent care, regional school programmes that aim to address mental health concerns in pupils, real accounts from its frontline staff and tackling the wider mental health impact of covid.

Caroline Donovan, Chief Executive commented on the launch of the Trust’s first edition, she said:

“As many of our staff and communities will have felt, the past year has been our greatest challenge as we continue to manage with the pandemic whilst ensuring we stay on our journey of improvement – and what better way to showcase some of greatest work and achievements from our LSCft family than through a dedicated magazine.

We really hope you enjoy reading about the incredible innovation, dedicated care and commitment shown by LSCft and the benefits it has for our service users, their families and carers. It is incredibly exciting that we have the chance to deliver services and make changes that will transform services and ultimately transform people’s lives.”

The magazine also looks at the Trust’s vast successes, awards and the incredible journeys some of its staff have experienced to get to where they are today.

The first edition will be issued digitally, while future editions in print will be shared across its services, wards, centres and GP practices in the coming months.
