We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted seven times across six categories at this year’s Nursing Times Awards, recognising our outstanding contribution to nursing.

Following two of the toughest years in nursing, we continue to champion quality nursing and safe patient centred care amidst the challenges that the health and social care sector is facing.

We've been shortlisted in the following categories despite tough competition from hundreds of applicants:

Team of the Year, Patient Safety Improvement, Nursing in Mental Health, Nurse Leader of the Year, the Ann Shuttleworth Rising Star Award and the HRH The Prince of Wales Award for Integrated Approaches to care.

Our Recovery Riders Project was shortlisted in four categories including the HRH The Prince of Wales Award. The project driven by our mental health nurses sees unclaimed bikes donated by Lancashire Police be used to facilitate weekly patient rides around the West Lancashire countryside in Ormskirk.

The Nursing Times judging panel is made up of a diverse range of highly influential and respected figures within the nursing community including from the Royal College of Nursing and the Queen’s Nursing Institute.
