We are delighted to confirm that David Fillingham, CBE has been appointed to the role of Chairman of our Trust.

Alongside Chris Oliver, the pair will now lead the organisation in the next, exciting step of our improvement journey and support the delivery of our five-year Trust Strategy.

David Fillingham CBE, is well respected and well known throughout the NHS, having been Chair of Healthier Wigan Partnership, Chief Executive at the Advancing Quality Alliance, CEO at Royal Bolton Hospital and Deputy Chair at Aintree University Hospital, Liverpool.

David has now taken over from David Eva, who has held the position of Chair at the Trust since 2016.  

He said:
