We welcome Oliver Soriano as Director of Nursing and Quality for The Bay.

Oliver Soriano joined the Trust on 1 December and brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge from his previous roles within South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust where he was based for over 18 years. He leaves behind his position as Associate Chief Nursing Officer to take over from Anthony Davison as the New Director of Nursing and Quality for The Bay.

Oliver joined the NHS when he relocated to London from the Philippines in 1998, and has worked in a variety of different roles across his long NHS career but has always carried a huge passion for older adult care. 

Oliver is President of the Philippine Nurses Association UK, a role which allows him to offer support, work collaboratively and share his enthusiasm for the recruitment of international nurses to the UK, offering support during their recruitment and promoting retention.

On joining LSCft Oliver commented:

“I am delighted to welcome Oliver to the team and I know he will being valuable experience to our teams. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Anthony Davidson whose leadership in the last couple of years have been instrumental for the creation of The Bay locality in April 2021.” 

As Oliver starts with the Trust, Anthony continues his service by joining the Commissioning and Integration Team as Director of Nursing and Quality.
