The Community Dietetic Service aim to offer nutritional and dietary advice to adults (over 16 years) and provide an equitable and quality service for General Practitioners and Primary Care Teams across Greater Preston, Chorley and South Ribble.

Dietitians use the most up-to-date public health and scientific research on food, health and disease which they translate into practical guidance to enable people to make appropriate lifestyle and food choices.

As a department we are passionate and committed to improving patient care, so all Community Dietitians and Assistant Practitioners engage and participate in group or 1:1 clinical supervision every month.
