The Phlebotomy Service is provided to enable patients in Central Lancashire to access blood clinics when tests have been requested.
Please note: this service is only available in Preston, Chorley and South Ribble.
The service also runs drop-in Anticoagulant clinics, along with enhanced needs and Paediatric Clinics that are appointment only.
Where the service is provided
Blood test clinics are provided within GP surgeries across Chorley and South Ribble. Days and times of clinics are available from the surgery and all are run via an appointment system. Appointments are booked directly with the surgery.
If you require a blood test which is urgent within Central Lancashire you can attend one of the hospital clinics at Chorley or Royal Preston Hospital.
These urgents clinics are available between 8.30am and 12.30pm, Monday to Friday.
If you live in the Greater Preston area, you can attend one of our community clinics as a walk-in appointment. Please see timetable below.
Please note there is an increased demand upon the service so waiting times could be longer than usual.
