We have a Wellbeing Helpline and Texting Service, available Monday to Friday 7pm to 11pm and Saturday to Sunday 12pm to Midnight staffed by volunteers and those with lived experience, who can offer emotional support - ring if you want to chat about your mental health or are lonely.

The Wellbeing, Mental Health Helpline and Texting service are looking for kind and caring individuals to support people via phone and text. The service aims to offer confidential emotional support to anyone suffering with their own wellbeing and mental health.

What you need to know
  • Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 7pm to 11pm and Saturday and Sunday, 12pm to midnight. Volunteer commitment is a minimum of four hours every two weeks. 
  • Full NHS training and ongoing support is provided.
  • All out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.
  • References and DBS checks will be made.
  • Please note that for travel purposes the service is based in Blackpool, therefore applicants must have an FY or PR postcode.
