This report highlights recent achievements, alongside the critical development needed on our journey towards true inclusion, equity and belonging. This report is a testimony to the dedication of our LSCFT colleagues who strive to ensure all colleagues find space here to be themselves and to flourish accordingly.
Improvement is slower than any of us wish, however hopeful signs emerged this year. It has been a privilege to witness the deepening of trust between our different workforce communities, observing our colleagues sharing their raw feelings and seeing the impact this engenders in others. We are increasingly sighted on leaders challenging themselves on their accountability towards inclusion. In certain policy and processes we have seen improved adoption of best practice, sensitive to findings stemming from equality impact assessments and audits.
Our duty in these times is to continue to hold the person as the centre of our change, co-producing an inclusive culture together that does not ignore societal and legislative challenges. In this year we have further recognised that we need to be ever vigilant and responsive to societal pressures faced by our communities, working together to support and protect one another. In the year ahead we hope that this support can increasingly be felt in every site, in every team, in every interaction.
