It’s the small wins that matter: Emma’s story of caring
10th June 2026Emma has been a carer for as long as she’s been a mum, caring for her two neurodiverse sons, aged 10 and 8, who are both diagnosed with AuDHD (autism and ADHD). Their diagnoses came in stages, with autism in early childhood and ADHD more recently but Emma’s caring role began from the very start.

9th June 2026Rachel Lucas, from Clitheroe ran an incredible 84 miles between the two NHS Mother and Baby Units (MBU) that helped her recover from postpartum psychosis, a rare but severe mental illness, after the births of her two children.

Update on service plans for children and young people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) with no additional mental health diagnoses
29th May 2026Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) continue to work together to identify new arrangements for the un-commissioned children and young people's ADHD and ASD service for those with no additional mental health diagnosis.
